Our 1941 Seagrave fire truck is home!  Monarch Equipment of Belen, NM has repainted and cleaned the entire truck and even got it running again!  Many thanks to Don McConnell of Monarch Equipment for all his hard work. Our fire truck restoration is nearly done—all we have left to do is replace the seat upholstery.  We are having a lot of fun driving the truck around town in parades!

Improved accessiblity at the Museum and Art Center
We continue to work on improving our accessibility for challenged visitors.  We now have a “scrapbook tour” available for visitors who are unable to access the upstairs area of the Museum house—this booklet allows visitors to enjoy the upstairs exhibits from anywhere in the Museum.  We also have developed special tours for visitors that are visually, hearing, mobility, and/or developmentally challenged—these tours are available by special appointment OR for walk-ins (as staffing allows). We now have a video tour of the entire Museum house for our visitors that are unable to visit the house themselves to view in a fully-accessible area of the Art Annex.

Addresses needed
We are seeking current addresses and/or next-of-kin information on the following people that have old loans here at the Museum:  Beatrice Blocker (deceased), Esther (Mrs. George) Cook, Eva Russell Crook Evans, Dora Russell (deceased), Steven Martin, Dr. Sheldon & Katherine Price, Edna Lee (Mrs. John) Stewart (deceased).  Any help will be appreciated!
